Foot Reflexology

Foot reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet. The idea behind this practice is that the feet contain reflex points that correspond to various organs and systems in the body. By applying pressure to these points, it is believed that energy flow can be restored, and the body's natural healing processes can be stimulated.

Reflexology is often used to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and alleviate pain. It is also believed to help improve circulation, boost the immune system, and promote overall well-being.

What happens during your session?

During a foot reflexology session, I will typically start by examining the feet and identifying any areas of tenderness or tension. I will then apply pressure to specific points on the feet using my fingers, thumbs, and hands. The pressure may be firm, but it should not be painful.

It is important to note that while foot reflexology may be a beneficial complementary therapy, it should not be used as a substitute for conventional medical care. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, it is important to speak with your healthcare provider before trying foot reflexology or any other complementary therapy.
